Architectural Model Making

As Architectural Model Maker:

• Good knowledge on how to use workshop machinery, circular saws, sanders, band saws, laser machines and general hand held power tools.
• Able to work under pressure on a variety of projects covering all scales, from large masterplans to full size design mock-ups.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team on a range of high profile projects and be comfortable using traditional techniques of model making by hand as well as new technologies - including laser cutting and CNC machining
• Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and ability of model making skills.
• Good Rhino skills and an understanding of other 3D programs.
• Able to work in 3D as well as able to convert 3D models into 2D drawings.
• Experienced in the all areas of traditional model making: Spraying, lasering, construction and electrics/lighting
